Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 16, 2026

v9x uses a small number of cookies to keep the platform working and to understand how it's used. This page explains exactly what we use and why.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser when you visit a website. Cookies help sites remember who you are and how you interact with them.

Cookies we use

Can you opt out? No — this cookie is required for the platform to function.

CSRF cookieRequired

Name: next-auth.csrf-token
Set by: NextAuth.js
Purpose: Protects against cross-site request forgery attacks. A security requirement.
Duration: Session
Can you opt out? No — required for security.

Analytics cookiesAnalytics

Set by: PostHog
Purpose: Tracks page views, feature usage, and navigation patterns so we can understand how people use v9x and improve the product. Data is anonymized and aggregated — we cannot identify individual users from this data.
Duration: Up to 1 year
Can you opt out? Yes — you can block these cookies via your browser settings or a browser extension like uBlock Origin. The platform will still work normally.

What we do NOT use cookies for

  • Advertising or retargeting
  • Selling data to third parties
  • Tracking you across other websites
  • Fingerprinting or device identification

How to control cookies

You can manage or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings:

  • Chrome → Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
  • Firefox → Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies
  • Safari → Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge → Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Note: blocking required cookies will prevent you from logging in to v9x.

Changes to this policy

If we add new cookies or change how we use existing ones, we will update this page and the date above.
